About Us

Agro Inversiones Tierra Alegre, S.A. is a Panamanian company that has professionals with more than 20 years of experience in the agricultural sector between Venezuela and Panama, as well as the management of more than 5 thousand Ha of land. Currently, we have a property with +100 Ha planted in Hass avocado and additionally experience in cattle ranching, dual-purpose buffalo, sheep and goats, beekeeping, cereal planting, banana planting and others.

As part of our strategic plan to increase our production levels and in line with our vision as a company within the agricultural sector, we have been developing a plan to expand our land between 300ha – 400ha. Currently, we are in negotiations with neighboring landowners for the acquisition of land.

Products

Hass Avocadox

The Hass variety It is the avocado that is currently marketed and consumed the most in the world due to its productive advantages, its quality, the homogeneity of its fruits and its nutritional and cosmetic properties. It is a fruit with weights ranging between 90 to 300 g and between 7 to 13 cm long, ovoid in shape, with oil levels of between 17% and 21% in the pulp, small seeds and a rough and thick shell that is easily removable. . In post-harvest handling it reflects a high resistance to transport and can last for months in the cold chain.

Tierra Alegre is inserted within the avocado sector, given that the avocado has become one of the staple products in the local gastronomy, increasing its production in the last five years by 64%, highlighting that the national production does not manage to supply all of the national demand. They are currently planted +100 Ha of Hass type avocado, which are in production for this year 2022.

We guarantee good management, lifting and harvesting practices for the hectares planted with the fruit, while the possibility of expanding the land is being evaluated.

Honeyx

Our honey It is of high quality, high viscosity and dense. We have 220 hives and we hope to increase the hive capacity to 400 by the year 2023.

Each hive produces 30 kg of honey per year. It is estimated that the production of honey in 2022 will be 6,600 Kg.
